Timor Furak Group will participate in Timor-Leste Culture
and Food Festival to be held in the Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne on the 19th
February 2012.
Organized by Timorese Association in Victoria (TAV), this
yearly Festival is a major cultural event showcasing the Timor-Leste dances,
art, music and food and aims at promoting the history of Timorese culture and
to encourage and establish partnership between Timorese communities and the
general Australia communities. It is also opportunity for the Timorese to share
the uniqueness of Timorese culture with Victorian and enjoy something different
on Sunday. Due to the location of the festival, “the Queen Victoria Market”, it
is predicted that the festival will attract thousands of visitor.
There will be also after Festival Fundraising
party on Saturday, 25th February at the St. Paul Apostle’s Church
Hall 5 William Hovell Drive Endeavour Hills staring at 7pm to Midnight.
