Ramcaby Group Fair Closing Ceremony

Timor Furak Group performed Hime-Kami dance at the closing ceremony of Ramcaby Group Fair on 11 August, 2012 at Farol Park, Dili
The Incumbent Vice-Prime Minister of Timor-Leste H.E. Fernando de Araujo "Lasama", The Dili Dist. Police Commander Mr. Pedro Belo, Director of Ramcaby Group Mr. Nuno and  Chief of Village (Chefe Suco) are among the guest.

Timor  Furak Group in collaboration with Choir Group St. Cecilia, "Lia Nain" and 10 kids representing Timorese ethnics that were born in 2002 presented a package of show (Traditions, Music and Dances) called "Timor Hau Hadomi O" at the commemoration of the 10th Anniversary Restoration of Independence - 20 May 2012 - at Tasitolu and Live broadcast at RTTL
The program is supported through partnership between  Ministry of State Administration and Territory Management and Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Industry of Timor-Leste

Timor Furak Group will participate in Timor-Leste Culture and Food Festival to be held in the Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne on the 19th February 2012.
Organized by Timorese Association in Victoria (TAV), this yearly Festival is a major cultural event showcasing the Timor-Leste dances, art, music and food and aims at promoting the history of Timorese culture and to encourage and establish partnership between Timorese communities and the general Australia communities. It is also opportunity for the Timorese to share the uniqueness of Timorese culture with Victorian and enjoy something different on Sunday. Due to the location of the festival, “the Queen Victoria Market”, it is predicted that the festival will attract thousands of visitor.
 There will be also after Festival Fundraising party on Saturday, 25th February at the St. Paul Apostle’s Church Hall 5 William Hovell Drive Endeavour Hills staring at 7pm to Midnight.
